2 days, 2 cities and 25 bomb blasts!! I think no other country would have had some many blasts in history than India has had. And the result? We are gearing up for many more!! Seriously, is anything concrete in place to stop these attacks or preempt them? We are woefully short of police force and armymen.And what can they do if some of the people in this country are actually silent supporters of these terrorists or who actually help them execute their horrid plans in their own country!
Some time back in Times of India I saw a graphical representation of number of blasts that have taken place in India since the year 2005 and I could see that every nook and corner of the country have had blasts since then! People got sms on cell phone that one should avoid going to crowded areas or malls and multiplexes in nagpur during independence day week but wait; is it not exactly what the terrorists want? Frightened public, no business, markets crashing, They not only take human lives but also cripple the economy and thus hurts each and every person of this country. So human lives are not the only things that are casualties in such cases, but whole business gets affected!
Nowadays everyday in TV news we can see that Kashmir is on fire, the Azadi slogans have again returned in the valley but we can see the actual difference in Kashmir and Jammu! The people in Kashmir are actually against the transfer of land to Amarnath Shrine board but in Jammu people want the land to be transferred! In the news we see that mobs in Kashmir giving slogans against India and want Kashmir to be separated from India or be merged with Pakistan! It’s really sad to see Pakistani flags being flagged in our own country.
They also say that India has blocked the national highways hurting kashimiri’s economically and no business is taking place which is untrue. But wait; see the double standard!! They actually want to merge with Pakistan but want their business with India to do well!! They are not ready to give land to people in this country but when money matters business wise they need India!! They say blocking the highways is an act of War by India but when they kill innocent people in or around country that’s not act of war but freedom struggle! So to sell their apples India is needed but what they want to give in return? Nothing… oh sorry bloodshed!! Bombs!! Sorry, this is not a one way traffic! So for me no apples from Kashmir!! I am happy with the Shimla ones…..

I agree to all the points that you have written. What i tried was to highlight one side of the issue.that side where our armymen are getting killed fighting against our neighbours, that side where inncocent people in jaipur,ahmedabad,mumbai getting killed with no fault of there's. what wrong they or their family have done?
They just came out visiting public places to enjoy time with their families and in the process gets killed!! they too have moms,sisters to take care of. What about them? so i wrote this to highlight that issue and thus its not about apples, its used as a kind of metaphor.
I would certainly like to write about the other side of this problem as well ( just like you did). :)

Actually ,after reading this blog I got a feeling that u r really dont trust the Kashmirian as it seems to u that they are acting double sided...and responsible for spreading terrorism and so dont want to have any thing of Kashmir origin...and express that feeling by saying "No Kashmiri Apples for me..."
This compels me to express my view on that..so that the bitterness could be made lesser....
and also want to suggest some solution for the problem...

I m a regular reader of ur blogs.
After reading "No Kashmiri Apples for me"...Some thoughts came to my mind. Which I would like to share.
It’s really sad to read newspaper with the bloodshed news in Kashmir valley everyday.
Kashmir..a place on earth about which Ammir Khusro once said ..
"Is there is any Paradise on Earth,
It is this. It is this. It is this...”
The same place now has turned into...blood battle field!
By reading the article...a question comes to my mind. Is a common man there has really concern with whether he will be the part of India or Pakistan?
Is the comman man there has any other option ,other than just to
step down in front of terrorist activitists!!....
Its not the comman man...who wants blood shed ,who wants human lives to be snatched like this...
A comman man always wants peaceful and secured life for him and his family.., it’s just a hand full of terrorist in the valley...who take decisions on their behalf...
As we can see that in Cities like Nagpur, people fear to gather in public places on just getting sms on cell phones..So we can imagine. what will be the level of security people out there must have experiencing..!!
And the handful of terrorists who have taken charge of Kashmir valley into their hands. are pressurizing a comman man to do ,what these people want them to do....and became the representatives of Kashmir people..
Women are not secured. facing exploitation, children had lost their childhood...Youth are unemployed and become pray of terrorism..Poverty..Crippled economy. all these create such an atmosphere ,where human life can only suffocate.. can never flourish..
A comman man over there is struggling for life..!!
Humanity is unable to breathe!!
What we are looking at is just a illusion created by Terrorist organizations which are having support of Pakistan for the same.
Pakistan is only aggravating a comman man over there that Indian
Government is doing nothing for them.
This what they want that we should forget our people and start considering the point of terrorist representatives as the decision of native of Kashmir....as of being wanted to merge with Pakistan...
Which I feel is not really the case..
Kashmir was part of India before and will continue to be in future too.
I feel due to such circumstances in Kashmir valley people will be easily get ready to do anything if they get money. for their family.
as its really seems hard to earn a living there...and youth readily fall pray ...
I personally feel that a comman man over there will participate in process of building nation when his family is secured and he is able to earn a living and is self dependent.
For that I feel that generation of employment resource is must in Kashmir. As Kashmir is very well blessed with nature..
Tourism and Fruits export can be developed as major source of income for the state. Also art and craft articles export can generate opportunities of earning for the people over there.
So, I for them I would like to have Kashmiri Apple!
I believe by this, in a small way we can make a difference!!

Apples or no apples. This seems to be a fight between ideologies. When one human treats other as one. Then it'll stop. But since the biggest enemy of any race is itself ...so does the humans are prone to same.
Nice one!!I too agree on your point but upto certain limit. I think u completely took Kashmiris as our enemies.May be that's your point of view.
